We are currently learning in the Rambam the laws relating to damages – so though I am not exactly sure, but it goes like this – if I own an ox and the ox goes into your field and eats your vegetables, because this is normal for an ox to do, I am liable; if however the ox does something abnormal, like eat your underwear, then I only pay half (as it is not something I should have known) This got me thinking, there are those things we must be aware that our animal (the animal soul in us) is prone to do – hence if I get angry… because God will say "Did you not know you have this liability….."
