We are born with a fundamental sense of self (hopefully) our ego develops to the extent, that by the time we are two, we are certain that nothing in this world wasn’t directly created to serve us (which is why we threw – yes you did – don’t remember, but ask your mom!- such terrible tantrums!) however, we need to then (through our mind, eventually effecting our hearts) subdivide – firstly, we need to realize the benefit, namely our sense of self means that He who create us, also Is! – secondly, everyone else also Is! – this extends even to animals, plants and even rocks (inanimate matter which as science has proven feels!) then we need to dissociate from it’s curses, namely entitlement – you and I have a single entitlement, to never stop saying Thanks! (for in truth, our sense of self is – as is obvious (for there was a time it didn’t exist, and perhaps a time when it won’t) a Divine unconditional gift)
