Here are the most common views – how people see reality

The ultimate view of course, is that of Kabbalah – the soul of Torah, namely, life is an infinite sequence of lessons, learned through a person firstly becoming a Baal Teshuvah (one who through his or her own volition, seeks truth) and then learning to see God in everything, as the Baal Shem Tov taught: whatever you saw, whatever you hear, is actually orchestrated by God! as within the event will be a life lesson!

Then there is the simple Jewish view, that, life is about listening to God.

There is the secular view, that life is a series of random events, in other words, we have no responsibility to anyone or anything.

There is the Christian view, which though varying, consists in the belief that Jesus came to die for our sins and will redeem those who believe in him and I assume punish those who don’t in the afterlife / messianic era.

There is the Muslim view, namely that Mohamed was the last prophet, sent by God to rectify the mistakes that crept up in the prophecies (or how they were recorded in the past) and similar to the Christian view, those who believe in him shall be rewarded, those who don’t shall be punished; (though unfortunately, the highest goal of Islam is jihad, namely, to conquer countries and place them under sharia-law, which is why we see even within themselves, the fight of the religious Muslims against the secular Muslims – who obviously don’t take jihad as an imperative and prefer to have a normal life on earth.)
