Until the times of the Baal Shem Tov, people thought, God was just a great man; hence to be served; has an opinion, that you need to follow; the Baal Shem Tov explained to us, that God is infinite, which means, he doesn’t exist in the paradigm that we exist in, as everything under God is finite – uniquely, God loves us more than elderly parents would love an only child born to them when they were already getting old! – Can you imagine how much they would love them! – and hence God, ultimately, as Chassidus teaches, wants to give us the best! which is infinite growth! and infinite growth, comes from; when we realize, that whatever we know, like the difference between, say, even a million dollars, relative to infinite money; just imagine the machines that print money, so they can print a millions dollars in a minute, so a million dollars relative to that infinite printing press, is not even like a dollar – it’s like nothing! similarly, whatever we know is like nothing compared to infinite information!
