Who are we?

Are we who we think?

The famous (and like most ridiculous) statements, “I think, therefore I am” – Does that mean when you are sleeping, you are not?!

The answer to who we are, is similar to what Einstein and Heisenberg discovered about the physical world – in Einstein’s words, “Reality is an illusion, albeit a very persistent one!”

Everything you see, hear, touch, taste, feel, is all (at most) wavelengths – In other words, there are two realities: the absolute truth, that besides God, nothing exists! and the reality we were born to perceive!

Now if a person says, “Reality is what I perceive!” they are obviously wrong.

So in order to understand, who we are; we need to get into the layers, we don’t!

1. Firstly, as is obvious, we are not our bodies – the body is only the home for an immortal soul.

2. Secondly, our soul is literally God – but as we perceive ourselves to be our body, we see ourselves as independent beings (much like a child which is in truth the DNA of the parents.)

3. The soul descends into a three part – tiered – animal – The top tier (which is what makes humans unique) is our independent, rational observational mind – The second tier (in which we mirror animals) is called the heart, the seat of primarily two emotions: love (the desire for pleasure) and fear (the desire to not feel pain) And finally, in the dungeon (the liver) is a cold-heartened, fire-breathing dragon, ego, the desire to get our way!
