Understating the meaning of our sages that the first two thousands years were creation/chaos, the second Torah, the final Moshiach

The ultimate intent as we know is for the era of Moshiach, when the Divine self merges with the human.
However for this to happen three two thousand year periods (as we are a bit slow and hard-headed) had to happen
The first two thousand years was the formation of “civilization”; from the shock of God’s punishment, Noah and his sons began civilization – though devoid of Divinity – they gathered for their mutual benefit.
Hence we find that “all the people spoke one language and lived in one land.”
Then came Abraham, who represented, not only man can serve self, but go beyond self!
Again it took about two thousand years for this to sink in, for only when the Jews having had the shock of the first destruction of the Holy Temple – remember they were an independent country for close to a thousand years, hence it truly was a trauma to be sent to exile – but when they returned they did so firmly entrenched with the Divine morals.
At the destruction of the Second Temple begins the era of Moshiach, for ultimately it was the desire of the Holy one blessed be he, that man should through his own cognition realize that man had none.
In that vacuum man would begin to seek
And as Kabbalah teaches, as God is reciprocal, when he would delight in God, so to would God, like a bride who discovered her bashert / destined one, would forever give herself.
