Understanding the world we live in, in the light of Daniel’s prophecy

King Nuvechadnatzer had a dream, in it, he saw a statue, the head of gold, arms of silver, torso of brass, legs of iron and some toes were iron, some were hardened dirt.

Daniel explained: the Lord is showing you the future – now, remember, we are looking back at his prediction which came true – four world powers, one lower than the other, Babylonia, Persia, Greece and Rome; and in the very end of time, Arabs will rise – remember, these are bedioun tribes living in sand dunes.

Then a rock came, and smashed the statue to bits, the dust of the statue was blown away by wind, and the rock turned into a mountain, the mountain of peace with beautiful flowers, the everlasting kingdom of Moshiach!

In other words, God is actually telling us, what is happening today, in front of our eyes – as George Orwell said: the hardest thing to see is what’s happening in front of our noses! – what is a kingdom, an empire, if not prestige?! but what were the previous “prestige” of these kingdoms based on? Power and wealth! – and the stone is the new messianic world which will do away with the perception that power and wealth are prestigious, and introduce a new world order, that peace, Godliness, love, compassion, now, those are the qualities worth living for!
