Understanding the human need, reaction, disappointment, hence resentment to love

Psychologist say, we need love, more than we need food!
As the Jewish sages teach, a person is a social creature!
For example, take a dog, which is a social creature, and take him away from any form of affection, he will emotionally starve!
Hence, the first years of life, in fact, the first year, we humans, are suckled, reacted to and recipients of love!
It is this love, that builds our sense of values.
Now our sages also say, we react to love like a mirror.
Hence when we are loved, we love in return – to the exact amount.
Which is why, the hardest thing – as anyone who has – to lose in life, is love!
Now we must understand, the difference, between loss and malice!
Say someone fell in love, or even if someone’s mother God-forbid passed on (so there is a non-aggressive loss of love) hence, there obviously must be a mourning period.
However, if someone was maliciously violated – their integrity attacked – bullied – hence this creates anger!
Now the heart is like a pot of boiling water, ready for ingredients (like a soup) so inside the previous loving heart, a new ingredient is added and that is anger / resentment.
Resentment to the heart, is what a vial of poison is to CHICKEN SOUP!
