Ultimately there are two diametrically opposite pleasures in life: the pleasure of rape, which effectively is to demean (this is behind why pornography is so prevalent) and the pleasure of goodness – which is about uplifting; and though one can indulge in both, nonetheless as is clear in a marriage, the former comes at the expense of the latter
