Ultimately, there are only 5 things that include all human motivation, first and foremost. There is the desire to get our way. We see this with children that they will throw tantrums. Eventually our ego may be mollified, but it is still there. It says the honor of a person is giving them what they want. Beyond the ego drive, of course, is higher intelligence – not to desire something, because the body wants it or the eye saw it, etc. but rather to consider what is worth wanting. Of course, there is also the flip side, which is self-protection and all mental disturbances come from too much anxiety and fear, as well as a false belief that we are shameful, hence a need to prove ourselves. But the ultimate motivation is the seeking, discovering and infinitely integrating and upgrading and aligning oneself with Revelation.
