They both are in the same premise namely that the Rebbe wants campaigns, mivtzoyim, one focusing on a specific.
They are both wrong.
The ikar haikrim is that the Moshiach campaign is both internal and only afterwards or simultaneously external.
Unlike a Teffilin campaign which is obviously external, the Moshiach campaign is primarily to lift oneself out of galus.
As the Rebbe said to Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu, to bring Moshiach into one’s life.
In other words, to see truth instead of darkness, to see the messianic process unfolding instead of galus, to experience the redemption instead of confusion.
