Put another way, life merely is a tug of ropes, you are standing in the middle, now there is one set of ropes pulling you towards instinctual lusts, ego, expediency; there is tied to the other, tremendous truth – compassion – sacrifice; and it is up to us to resolve with enough determination to let go of the instinctual desires, in order to fulfill our soul ones!
