Many people think, if God really loves me, he would give me what I want; but the truth is, because God really loves us. he gives us what he, in his infinite wisdom, seeing beyond anyone else’s infantile desires (for all desires are infantile, based on personal instincts for pleasure or lack of pain etc.) knows what is best for us! – I met a businessman who told me he had been working for a while on a deal worth hundreds of millions which just fell through, but being a believer, he told me, “maybe God knows I couldn’t handle it!”
