Today is Yud Shvat – as the Rebbe teaches, the essence of Yud Shvat represents an amazing process whereby the infinity and the finite do a dance – you see, a dance is a fascinating thing – it consists of as the Baal Shem Tov said unity and separation (think of a waltz) in such a dynamic three things occur: a. you exist b. your partner too c. and an infinite joy of closeness followed by momentary loss, hence once again, the joy of unity, ad-infinitum
