To whine is the ultimate stupidity, for effectively it shows we are brain-dead – for example, after God challenged Adam, the first man, who begged God for a spouse, “why he ate from the tree of knowledge?” when he was instructed not to; he replied, “it’s the woman you gave me, who convinced me” – claim our sages, Adam showed ingratitude – ingratitude is the hallmark of immaturity – immaturity is the hallmark of delusions of grandeur, for the child (likewise the adult, who isn’t aware of his debt to God and others) is incapable of seeing the good in his or her life!
