To touch God

By zevi770 · November 4, 2013

If you had to meet God, what would you see?

Now obviously the simplicity of God – i.e. the core, as the Baal Shem Tov teaches, is mirrored in the simplicity of a Jew; a sincerity, sensitivity to others; which is the hallmark of the Jewish people.

But what about God’s body, what would it look like?

And that’s the great secret, that God doesn’t have a body – in other words, God placed himself within the Torah and particularly Chassidus (the soul of Torah) hence, we find an amazing phenomena, when one studies Torah and particularly Chassidus, namely; it never gets boring!

Now I don’t know about you, but if I have read a secular book, watched a movie, even science which I enjoy, I can’t read or see it a second time – yet somehow, beyond any human experience, year after year, we read the same Torah portion, and not only it is not boring, we see new things, we never noticed; for as it is God’s “body” like God, it is always alive, it is always aware of the next best insight!
