To not tell you something that can make you into a better person means my interactions with you are solely selfish (and perhaps sadistic, as many people simply use and/or abuse others, while good people share what they believe can assist another) but to coerce you through any means, including shame, is evil – in other words, the difference between good and and people is, a good person shares wisdom, but allows the other the choice
