To love is beautiful, but usually relates to how I feel (hence much of the free love in the sixties, though perhaps well intended, turned into lack of morals) to fear which causes resentment (for like a mosquito which we fear will bite us we also resent its buzzing) is obviously very detrimental both to you and society (hence all evil, which is resentment based) but to have compassion – to on one hand know everything is good because God is only good and to likewise feel compassion for everyone!
