To be good, its almost as easy as 1.2.3

 

 

One of the most amazing classic Jewish writings is Chovois Halivavois – The Duties of The Heart, written by Rabbi Bechayeh.

 

In it he writes, to be good one needs three things (which actually are in descending order, not so easy!

 

1. You need to believe God is good!

 

2. You need to know the definition of good!

 

3. You need to self discipline yourself to do good!
