To align our expectations with reality

As the Baal Shem Tov said, most insanity is caused by people, whose ego hasn’t realistically managed to manifest (hence they manifest it, in delusions) but likewise, perhaps it is true to say, that most frustration that we all experience, happens, when we don’t get what we think we deserve (which is a mild level of the same disease!)
