The Zohar teaches, three organs can rule us
The mind
The heart
The liver
As I was thinking about this this morning, it occurred to me, that the Rebbe’s teaching, that in essence we are all pure goodness is so true!
For who are we? in reality we are our soul, and our souls, our love and desire for goodness and kindness is the most natural state of a child.
It is only when people get demeaned that they feel an obligation to restore their dignity.
Hence the BS persona of say the English peacocking, and many others; particularly cultures who feel entitled and rejected; hence Germans particularly after world war 1; this is precisely when the ego manifests, for when people are secure, aka Americans, you do not see the egoistical persona, rather just sweet identification with one another.
