The first is the way of Abraham – charity.
The second is the way of Isaac – disciplined behavior; (not that Abraham wasn’t disciplined, nor Isaac gave charity; rather their main emphasis was on their main soul tendency.)
And the ultimate! the way of Jacob! compassion, mercy, truthfulness.
