Those who condemn others are merely returning the favor – though you may have not condemned them; but people, like all mammals, find it very hard to distinguish between shapes (in other words, they associate your shape of a person, to another, who has harmed them, and hence take out their wrath on you – usually cuz they know you are too nice to return in kind!)
