This weeks Parshah we read all about Avroham – what an amazing guy! the whole world believes in idolatry and he single handedly discovers and is awarded the relationship with the one true God! – however this is not even mentioned! – instead, the first words to this prophet and forbearer of monotheism is, "Get Packing!" for the goal of God is not a spiritual seeker – the good lord knows he has enough of those! – and this is actually why Abraham was chosen as the father of monotheism, the father of the Jewish people, whose faith carried his to the world – rather, it is in his ability to spread the truth he was taught!
