This week’s Parsha begins with God asking Mosses to fundraise from the Jews

“Everyone should give according to their hearts desire”

And a list of the necessary materials was fundraised

Now who actually gave the Jews, who were slaves with no possessions, certainly not gold, silver, copper etc. everything? Why it was God!

Did he really need our donations?

It made me realize: when God asks of us to give charity, he is only giving us the opportunity to do good!
