Thinking of life in this way makes all the difference – life obviously happens in time – time is the canvas upon which all our experiences occur, from eating to sleeping from learning to interacting, as Einstein explained the theory of relativity, relating to physical matter in time, namely, “if you have a conversation with a pretty girl a hour feels like a minute, and if you are sitting on a hot plate, a minute feels like an hour” so we see how very great differences exist between the content of time, as the Rebbe says, time is not measured by how long something takes, but rather how meaningful something is; so the key thing to always wonder about and align or realign, is, this: is the direction of my life (easily understood by the things you are spending time on) meaningful or meaningless!
