These are the only realities

If we are secure we naturally love – this is the general tendency, for example in secure democracies – but this love is immature, as we see a. from the sexual impulses with no regulation b. from lack of discernment c. this is seen in but one example, from drug abuse and the list is endless

Fear/resentment/hate is the exact opposite of love, it comes from societies that devalue the individual – usually for some megalomaniac’s desire to control – In these societies people are in what game theory calls a zero sum war – It’s literally a dog eat dog world and man’s highest aspiration is to be a dictator (can you think of some societies, for example Arab etc.)

But finally there is the Jewish path, the path of wisdom – wisdom is able to discern – in other words, in fact everything God made has both light and darkness, both a positive quality – generally speaking, things can be used positively or negatively, for example money, sex, power etc. – and the wise person is one who allows God’s truth (who as the Creator of these three realms: neutral, positive and negative) is in the perfect position to guide – the reason most of us are not wise is wisdom takes humility (while emotions contribute to ego)
