There really is no other way – unless we choose to believe that everything God does is chosen! – in other words, I recently saw a documentary, with one of the youngest survivors of the holocaust, Rabbi Nissen Mangel – young Mangel (I heard this personally) when he was in the infamous line where the nazi mengele would decide right or left (one side being to forced labor the other to be gassed to death) he had the idea, that he decided to say that he was older in order to survive; so though he was only ten, he stuck out his stomach and said he was sixteen; Mengaleh laughed and he sent him to the hard labor line – (he had some other amazing stories) However what’s important to our story is something he relates – of-course, like everyone, he lost all his loved ones, was physically tortured, and yet he said, “he never suffered any nightmares” (which is a natural response) the reason, because, “I always believed everything God does is good!” – in other words and please pay close attention, there is no such thing as reality (this is true in every aspect, but particularly, in what is good or bad – for example, I hit you – it may be hello, it may be cruel, there are many interpretations which create perception, which create either love fear/resentment from the same stimuli)
