There really are, like in game theory, two worldviews, which pretty much all people fall into, which in Kabbalah is chessed or din, chessed is a universalistic kind of identification, hence, love; which ultimately is also a mistake, for one has to realize that there is another worldview, which at least half the world fall into, namely din, a sense of competition, that “the world lacks love,” “it’s a dog eat dog world,” and “I need to do whatever I can for myself, for I have no one to rely one” (based on my experiences which haven’t been pleasant, usually as the result of shame, hence this is a protective mechanism) but ultimately, though many people are in that paradigm, particularly from repressive regimes, hence they treat everyone harshly, hence entire societies become malevolent, Germans, prime example, Arabs another, nonetheless, the truth is, all people really desire love, so the ultimate paradigm is to feel sorry for people who are in the state of din and instead of loving them unconditionally which is somewhat difficult as they are busy manipulating you and others; try to feel sorry; for their paradigm is one in which they are constantly in a maze, dogging perceived bullets, struggling to keep their head above water, so it’s like being in a cia torture chamber, and the more you have compassion on them, the more they can change their worldview, from din to chessed, and when they do, and if you were the catalyst, the love for you will be greater than a person who was released by you, from a cia interrogation chamber.
