There is no greater gift that God created than marriage, for marriage is the only institution – if removed from lust, and only as Adam and Eve united prior to any lustful desires, as it states, they were naked and did not see the shame – for people crave unity, and for there to be true unity, the institution of marriage offers a giver and receiver, hence there is no competition.
