There is a good reason that from all the summaries of Judaism the final bottom line is knowledge of God – for in the knowledge that everything is designed a person can relax and in the state of serenity we are able to not be in the state of fear, for all evil comes from the dark side – you see in fear a person begins to think backwards – in security our mind goes to what should be done, but in fear what shouldn’t – But as we are not doing this from a point of love, rather protection, it’s, like someone playing defense in a ball game, doesn’t have a goal – It doesn’t feel meaningful, fulfilling; and hence resentment and jealousy over other peoples’ happiness begins to grow, when before you know it, from love we descend to hate
