There is a famous gentile song “if God was one of us – Just a stranger walking down the street…”

What if God was one of us?
What if God was a human?
No, I am not advocating Christianity, rather advocating an idea!
If God was a human, how would he behave!?
Ultimately the answer is easy, for the Talmud teaches, that the Tzaddikim / Jewish saints mirror God, so if they mirror God’s behavior, then if God was one of us – just a stranger walking down the street, he would be exactly like the Lubavitcher Rebbe!
But that is also not a hundred percent true…
For the Baal Shem Tov taught us, that the simplicity, sincerity, honesty, integrity, unconditional love, identification, that the average Jew contains THAT IS WHAT MIRRORS GOD MOST!
