There are three two thousand year periods – the first two thousand years of creation are called chaos, for chaos reigned within the human race – the next two thousand are called Torah, for the light of God through the truth of Torah began to penetrate human consciousness, and the final two thousand which we are almost concluding, is called redemption, for through the Jews being torch-bearers of this light, spread by God to the vast-flungs of the planet, interacting on every level with all societies, the truth that justice, goodness and kindness, truth, compassion and love, need not be relegated in the pursuit of honor and pleasure; and the final day, is called the day which is complete peace and delight, when God in his infinite loving kindness, compassion and desire, identification and truth, begins to become not the God of Mount Sinai – the justice Creator – rather the Rebbe, the personal guide
