There are three reason our sages teach, why God made you me and the entire existence we experience – the most widely known and primary, is because God desires to unite within us, which is the messianic redemptive state – a state, by the way, available –

as we are so close to the messianic state – now! – the second is, that it is the nature of a good person to do goodness, hence our universe is myriads of gifts that God lovingly gives, for his intrinsic reality is love, hence, this gets expressed as the myriad gifts we get, no less of course than the first reason we mentioned, which is the greatest gift possible – but then there is a weird reason from Kabbalah called “to fulfill his potential!” that as long as God doesn’t actualize his ability, he somehow remains deficient, hence, only in his actualization of his incredible abilities does his potential get fulfilled – but perhaps it means like this – when a person is a loving person there are two possibilities – the first is that the love remains in potential, hence the person feels the joy of universal unity, but doesn’t actually do anything towards creating universal unity, which is what most good people do; however, the ultimate perfection actualizes his goodness!!!
