There are ten stages

When we are little children we must have our delusion of grandeur ( “terrible twos”  where as we have gotten our way ( though it was our mothers compassion, yet we think it was our doing)

Once our delusion of grandeur has been shattered, we then are capable of discerning

However as we are still so vulnerable, we adopt the values ( though often valueless)

When we become more independent we begin to search

Eventually our search leads us to God

But God creates within us a feeling of grandeur (a little like the terrible twos)

Then God destroys our delusion

Then we begin to create a relationship
