There are only three ways of looking at reality, the first is that there is a fundamental separation between good and evil, and effectively the faith systems will say that certain things are good and certain things are evil – and some type of reward or punishment will come about through adhering to the former and staying away from the latter – the other system is one based fundamentally on instinct, so effectively it’s whatever I can get away with – the third and the truth which is much more subtle or much more complex, and obviously empirically evident is that every single thing, and let’s focus for a moment on the most powerful drives, for that which has the greatest power can both go north or south, right or left, and be a force for great construction or great destruction
