Theory:
Rebbes: We are all here to serve God; God is infinite; hence our service is always incomplete, and whatever we did yesterday can, should and must be improved upon tomorrow Result:
We are all one – you and I only have different parts of the same symphony, and I can never get arrogant, for tomorrow must be better than today
Theory:
Classic Judaism: God gave us the Torah, listen
Result:
Obviously this is the foundation (upon which the Rebbe’s theory is built) the benefits are a sense of duty, humility; goodness and kindness if one adheres also to the commandments between man and man, but if one focuses on the commandments between man and God, it leaves a back door open to haughtiness
Theory:
Secular: you and the rat have everything in common
Result:
Fulfill all your fantasies, don’t worry whom you hurt, just don’t end up in jail!
