The Zohar teaches us, three organs can rule us, if we look at how these organs are positioned, we get clarity on how to position ourselves, the lowest is the liver: anger, resentment, revenge; the next is the heart’s instinctual urges: even good ones, but not created out of logical discernment, rather emotionally based, like a child’s unconditional naive love; the highest of course, is our mind, where our actions are based on our mind’s eye!
