The world is not what we think it is – we think it’s stable but really it is moving – (things only look like particles when you look at them, otherwise they are waves) We think it’s here but it is fundamentally not here (it is created by the consciousness of God who continuously rethinks it – atoms pop in and out of existence) And similarly, spirituality is not what we think it is, for once again we relegate God to the primarily stationary, similar to how we see people (a person is…) When in fact God is equally not here as he is – The only concept of God in fact is whatever he chooses (as he explained to Mosses who wanted to know God, “I am whoever I will be” – “sometimes I am a God of war, sometimes peace, sometimes spiritual, sometimes physical”) and ultimately our lives are simply as the Alter Rebbe says, “God’s music”, for music is high and low notes (a single note is flat, lifeless and boring) When we rise beyond our limitation, we hit a high note, when we descend into fear / depression we hit a low, and as God is infinite, he continuously raises the bar
