the whole story – in the beginning was God’s vision – this vision as the Kabbalists teach us, encompassed every single event – now obviously God is not one dimensional, nor is he two, nor is he three, for all the dimensions, even including time are still just a single sliver in a single moment – God is the entire picture, like if you could stand very close to a painting, and see one home and then as you walk back you can see every home that ever did and will exist – Similarly the picture God pictures was not of a single moment, but of the entire time-continuum (what the Kabbalists call the 50,000 shimitois, according to my pretty bad mathematics, 2.5 billions years) Now the purpose, of this continuum obviously is you – for you to exist, a lot went into it – We are like the consumer who gets our car or iphone not realizing how many thousands, tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands of hours of inventions, and production lines etc. went into creating it – By the time our cheery old self arrives on this glorious planet, we have had 5,000 years of civilization – of growth, of notions, of overthrowing kings, introducing democracy, technology etc. etc. – This gives us an amazing stupidity – certainly you can appreciate the difference between the challenges that lay before the first people and us – they had to figure out how to plant, how to create shelter, the list is endless – our stupidity is in fact necessary, for the ultimate intent of this 2.5 billion year continuum is freedom of choice – People whose lives are so set and stable they can actual dream they did all; hence in this security, they have the freedom to do whatever their heart fancies – This as God predicted would lead them along selfish habits, which they would then come to realize, are simply stupid – valueless animalistic instinctual desires – then they would seek the truth, and like a ready made game, somehow, somewhere, he would led each seeker to the cosmic truth – maybe this is your signpost – a truth in which the maker meets the made, and in an infinite dance, they sing a song which brings beauty forever (at least for 2.5 billion years.)
