The Whole

One of the wonderful things of the Rebbe’s erudite succinct and all-encompassing erudition (knowledge and teachings) was that from the parts (for we, looking from the outside in, have no other means) we create the whole (Picture..) and hence once we have the kernel, the dna, the genesis, the essence, we can extrapolate (all the parts.)
Woe to the fool who sees not – for as the Previous Rebbe said – (as told to me by Leible Wolf) “Like a train traveling between two cites was life (in the olden days – for generally people were either religious or perhaps free-thinking but all were basically believers in moral standards (right and wrong) but as the train approaches the messianic redemption – the times we are actually in – like a train within a city, the myriad destinations, each flowing with its own bizarre attitude, overwhelming one to the point of oblivion from confusion – and but s/he whose tendency to discern (as mentioned: to find from the parts the whole, and then to apply the whole to the parts) survives” (this is with some of my commentary.)
My friends – born into the brilliance, not only of Judaic Rabbinical family, but most importantly the holiest wisdom of the Baal Shem Tov’s wisdom, elucidating primarily and philosophically through Chabad – having myself searched for truth, I believe that the whole, the essence, from which all the parts emanate is:
- God
- God, like all of us is a combination of His essence (though His combination has no separation) and His heart
- His heart (like all of our – at least core, as we see in children) is LOVE
- To Love, He created
- To Love He gave free-choice (which really means, people choosing, hence chaos usually)
- To Love, for those who seek the truth, He miraculously (without abrogating free-choice) arrives
- To Love, His arrival abrogates not others, rather allows you to serve
