The way of The Baal Shem Tov

By zevi770 · April 1, 2016

As the Rebbe says, once in a millennia you get someone who restructures the very vistas of reality.

First there was Abraham who taught there is a single Creator.

Then there was Mosses who revealed his Divine commandments.

Then there was David who passionately subdued Israel’s enemies and established the Divine Laws.

He also lay the foundation for the first Holy Temple.

The there was Mordechai who led Jews to repentance.

Then there was the Baal Shem Tov who revealed the truth.

For though all the previous greats also were obviously connected to the truth they were connected in a finite paradigm.

The Baal Shem Tov revealed the infinite paradigm – quite amazingly being readily accepted by the vast majority of spiritually inclined people today.

The paradigm is not as (as all faiths conceived of God as finite being, so “follow these laws to get this result” – sort of like, if I came up with my best idea and sold it wholesale) Rather, an infinite being, one who is both beyond our reality but in our reality, one who need not communicate but chooses to do so.
