The way of God

Based on all of my understanding of truth, which is based on much research (not only delineating philosophies, religions etc. which are single minded and focus on a single “truth,” but primarily) my studies of Chassidus (which as the Rebbe believed, to teach everyone everything, he certainly did) it is my conclusion, that God works (as the Rebbe teaches in ki sisah, nun-beis, which is a Kabbalsitic doctrine but made “easy”) continuously in a three stage process (why, is not as important as the facts): we are obviously receiving Divine guidance (whether we like it or not – for example, none of us chose to be born, will choose to die; we choose not our gender, our family, our education – except perhaps as adults etc.; we can literally speak of at least a million other factors that strongly influence us – the times we live in etc. etc. – that we did not choose) So we are certainly conscious, what makes us different from an animal, is in awareness (whereas an animal is only aware of its needs) we have a capacity (sometimes hopefully, based on the extent that our mind is free from fear or passion desires which overtakes man’s mind) to independently acknowledge truth – But and this is the most important but – truth is not real – truth is a construct – I had a debate with a great Jewish philosopher who couldn’t come to terms that true is not truth – everything we think is true, even those things God himself said, are simply steps; for example, the notion to not worship idols, is simply a step in the right direction, if you were to end your religion there, you would effectively die – anything which doesn’t go beyond itself is dying – hence, truth is a conscious awareness of something beyond the current, leading you to a higher dimension, which then one must let go of, to allow in an even higher dimension – all in all, God allows one to discover this uncomfortable (for it means you can never arrive) yet infinitely productive reality (for it means, you shall always be reborn, ever wiser, humbler etc. etc.) eternally
