The ultimate spiritual experience

Why is it that Judaism hasn’t developed a spiritual technique system like the east – though the Tanya is one, we find that we basically have dos and don’ts, but the emotional techniques are more inspirational than practical – because fundamentally there is only two things one needs to know, right from wrong, and humility; and ironically the mastery of the eastern techniques causes arrogance, and the realization of how distant we are from the Jewish ones, causes humility!
