The ultimate goal

Yes there is certainly a destination!

You see by nature everything you do falls into one of two categories: love or fear – love is desire for; fear is desire against.

When I love you, I am attracted and wish to unite with you; similarly if I love say chocolate.

Fear creates the opposite reality, if I fear you, I wish to stay far away from you, similarly with say a bee.

But the irony is that both love and fear have the same fundamental purpose – ME – at the core of both love and fear is ME! and what I perceive to be in my best interest.

Ultimately as our sages teach, love has a motive; so if my motive in my relationship is say lust, the moment my lust is fulfilled, so has my relationship reached its intent; however if my love is for you, then like two friends, it is your very company that attracts me; but fundamentally still both are based on the motive.

The only true motive in life is not ME rather God; in other words, what is my purpose as a part of the cosmic purpose?

I must abandon all “ME motives” and constantly accept the purpose! – we must do so not out of the fact, a purposeful life is meaningful and vice-versa; but simply this is what is good! versus vice-versa!
