The truth, the whole truth

Truth exists on many levels

There was a clever boy who wrote a diary – unfortunately he was murdered in the holocaust but he wrote how a clever person could spend their lifetime studying a rock.

How many scientific fields are there where people dedicate their lifetime – and amazingly so much research has gone into all fields that we now know, in every field we actually cannot understand (for example, we cannot understand how DNA replicates – that’s like one Encyclopedia splitting in half and somehow both halves find letters to create the exact replica – we don’t know how atoms can magically appear and disappear continually which was written about in Kabbalah thousands of years ago.)

The only real truth to our universe is the wisdom of truth/Kabbalah, Chassidus, which teaches that yes multiple realities exist – on one hand these can be summed up into three broad categories – the physical – the spiritual and God.

Now most thought processes make a fundamental error in assuming that God is spiritual, from the vantage point of Kabbalah, the spiritual is just as distant from God as the physical.

Compared to infinite light even the sun is completely dark, so dark and what we call light relative to infinite light – a light which is so blinding that there is no place for darkness anywhere forever – the sun is in fact more comparable to darkness than light.

So this world ultimately is a world in which the Divine who created both the spiritual and the physical wishes for us to live in both realities.

We must constantly ascend in our spiritual reality but never exit our physical one, for ultimately the inspirational moments we have are nothing more though nothing less than that.

They do not turn us into angels – maybe in our minds – but in reality, all of us in fact have more in common with one another, truly as physical beings, and the tiny bit of inspiration we are gifted with, is not in order to delude into thinking we are now holy angels, rather give us a little bit of light, lift and joy, which we must then be happy to share.
