The truth is that though we hate to admit it, as Kabbalah teaches, since the eating of the tree of knowledge and as we know in Biblical terms, knowledge means intimacy; in other words: penetrating, absorbing, merging, hence the forces of evil: selfishness, ego, hence anger, jealousy, vengefulness, maliciousness becomes an equal part of our psyche
