The true revelation of God – God’s ultimate desire is to dwell in you – when does God’s infinity dwell within you/ finite?

To understand this, the very first commandment of God to a Jew which is found in this week’s Torah portion is “go beyond the confines of your perception, into an unlimited relationship with God.”
In other words – by nature, man sees even God as simply a greater human – in fact this is why many religions, Christianity in particular, have quite literally anthropomorphized God – this is one step away from the pagan idea that the sun, stars, etc. are gods – for man of course relates things to his own similar perception – so when you see a dog, you relate it to your experiences with dogs, if those were good or bad, similar your perception, hence reaction – similarly, how you relate to a man or woman – in other words, because the most a limited man can perceive, is a greater limited man, we too perceive God, as a smarter version of man.
But in truth, as Chassidus teaches us, wisdom and say physical action, which of course inherently are diametrically different functions, one being much loftier than the other, are at the same level to God.
God is a simple oneness with an infinite ability.
Wisdom is, like walking, to God – it is within his infinity, but it doesn’t limit, define, categorize, his infinity.
As such, what was so uniquely profound about God’s message to Abraham, “go beyond the confines of your perception, into an unlimited relationship with God” is that here God is clarifying himself/the truth.
Your relationship with God is not stuck. To think God is defined, even by the commandments he gives, would be to say his wisdom is limited.
God is infinite, so in truth what God and the Rebbe taught is as follows – your relationship with infinity, is likewise infinite.
In other words, to see what you have studied as a total, is to limit both God, your studies, and obviously yourself.
Rather, whatever you have studied, from God, from goodness, from Torah, from life lessons (which are correct) is merely one step in an infinite journey!
