In other words every stupid silly narcissistic and even evil desire we have, because “I have it,” I become emotionally attached to it.

There must be a system wherewith I can get beyond myself.

Now we find in the east, the knowledge of the problem of both desire an ego, however just going into meditative nirvana is silly escapism – you have not made yourself or the world a better place – you might as well go to sleep.

Rather the point is, by following the Judaic principle, namely, that “I have a single mission in life, to follow the will of God,” this in turn creates three remarkable miracles.

The first is I do good, as God is good (hence the God you follow, as the contradistinction between Islam and Judaism is infinitely important, and those people who think all religions are equal are simply morons) the second is, because the nature of the ego is “take credit!” and when you do something out of compulsion instead of desire – so I can compel myself, for example, to not eat chocolate cake, this doesn’t enhance my ego, for the ego takes joy in fulfilling desires! hence it simultaneously  creates ego-less growth, and finally because eventually we all, as many many many of us, have reached this quantum new life journey, hence we all share in common, our new religion
