The great master, Rabbeinu Bechayah teaches, there are three stages to a relationship/interaction, the hello, the middle and the goodbye – some people are good at hellos, but the trick to marriage and any long term relationship is not the bliss of union, but the maintenance required to keep the embers of the other person’s love still glowing!
